3、thastobeextractedfromageometrymodel[5].Hence,accordingtoBow-cutt[1],inordertoenableintegrateddesignanalysisandoptimizationitisofvitalimportancetobeabletointegrateanautomatedparametricgeometrygenerationsystemintothedesignframework.Theautomatedgeometrygenerationisakeyenablerforso-calledgeometry-in-
4、the-loop[6]multidisciplinarydesignframeworks,wheretheCADgeometriescanserveasframeworkintegratorsforotherengineeringtools.Toeliminatenoncreativework,methodsforcreationandautomaticgenerationofHLCthavebeensuggestedbyTarkian[7].TheprincipleofhighHLCtsissimilartohighlevelprimitives(HLP)suggestedbyLaRo
5、ccaandvanTooren[8],withtheexceptionthatHLCtsarecreatedandutilizedinaCADenvironment.Otherwise,thebasicsofbothHLPandHLCtcan,assuggestedbyLaRocca,becomparedtoparametricLEGOVRblockscontainingasetofdesignandanalysisparameters.Theseareproducedandstoredinlibraries,givingengineersoracomputeragentthe..pos
6、sibilitytofirsttopologicallyselectthetemplatesandthenmodifythemorphology,meaningtheshape,ofeachtemplateparametrically.2、MultidisciplinaryDesignFrameworkMDOisa“systematicapproachtodesignspaceexploration”[17],theimplementationofwhichallowsthedesignertomaptheinterdisciplinaryrelationsthatexistinasys
