1、第26卷第9期生态学报Vol.26,No.92006年9月ACTAECOLOGICASINICASep.,2006绿道及其研究进展121周年兴,俞孔坚,黄震方(11南京师范大学地理科学学院,南京210097;21北京大学景观设计学研究院,北京100871)摘要:20世纪90年代以来,绿道一直是保护生物学、景观生态学、城市规划和景观设计等多个学科交叉的研究热点和前沿,这种热潮被称为绿道运动。在对绿道的概念进行分析的基础上,探讨了绿道的发展及其主要阶段。分析了绿道的生态功能、休闲游憩功能、经济发展功能、社会文化和美学功能。探讨了绿道规划的方法

4、aryfieldssuchasConservationBiology,LandscapeEcology,UrbanPlanning,andLandscapeArchitecture.Thisgrowingresearchinterestparallelsthepopularriseofagreenwaysmovement,whichhasgainedconsiderablemomentuminmanyplacesaroundtheworldsincethe1990s.Becauseofthemanywaysinwhichthetermis
5、beingused,thisarticleexaminesthevariousconceptualandfunctionaldefinitionsofgreenways.Withthecharacteroflinearelementsandtheessenceofconnectivityemphasized,itdescribesfiveperiodsofgreenwaydevelopment:(1)initialgreenwayplanning(186721900);(2)landscapearchitecturalgreenwaypl
6、anning(1900to1945);(3)theinfluenceoftheenvironmentaldecades(1960sand1970s);(4)thenamingofthegreenwaymovement(1980sand1990s);(5)thebeginningofaninternationalgreenwaymovement(1990s2present).Thearticlealsoidentifiesfourmajorfunctionsofgreenways:(1)providingcorridorsforwildli
7、femovement;(2)renderingopportunitiesforrecreationalactivities;(3)boostingthedevelopmentoflocalandregionaleconomies;and(4)accommodatingarangeofhumanvaluessuchassocialexchanges,culturalpreservation,historicalcommemoration,andaestheticenhancement.Accordingtothedefinitionofgr
