3、sentrustedtoTechnicalCommitteeMCE/3,Safeguardingofmachinery.Alistoforganizationsrepresentedonthiscommitteecanbeobtainedonrequesttoitssecretary.ThisstandardwasformedbycombiningthelatestversionsofISO12100-1:2003,ISO12100-2:2003andISO14121-1:2007without

4、introducingtechnicalchanges.Althougheffortsweremadetomaintainabalancebetweentheemphasesoftheseindividualstandards,somecompromiseshavebeenmade.Forexample,whereasClause4ofISO12100-1includedrequirementsandsupplementaryinformationforhazardidentification,

5、ISO12100hasadoptedtheapproachofISO14121-1byseparatingtherequirements(seeSubclause5.4)fromsupplementaryinformation(seeinformativeAnnexB).Thiscompromiseinnowayindicatesthattheidentificationofhazardshasbeengivenareducedprominence,asitremainsavitalstagei
