4、intheU.S.wheremoststudentshavecarsandareexpectedtohelptheirparentspayfortuitionorcollegehousing.Studentsandtheirparentsmaydisagreeonhowmuchtimeshouldbedevotedtostudying.Buttheyusuallyagreethatinadditiontosomelearningandpossiblysomefun,oneoftheoutcomesofacollegeed
5、ucationshouldbeagoodjob.Studentswhohavealreadyworkedatpart-timejobshaveanadvantageinthejobmarket,butthisisnottheonlywaytoimproveone’schances.Manycollegeshaveinternshipsorco-opprogramstogivestudentspracticalexperienceintheirfuturecareers.Othershavespecialclasseswh
6、erestudentscanpracticetheirapplicationformsandletters,résumés,personalstatements,andemploymentinterviews.Mostcollegeshavecareercounselorsandeithercareerdaysorcareerfairswherestudentscanmeetpotentialemployersandlearnaboutcareeralternatives.Recentlymanyjobshavebeen
7、listedontheInternet,makingiteasiertomatchstudentswithsuitableopportunitiesandmoreimportantforstudentstoacquirecomputerskills.Collegecanbeanexcitingandrewardingexperience,butitcanalsobeverystressful.Makingtheirowndecisionscanbeverydifficultforyoungpeopleaccustomed
