3、settswinters,Naismithneededtofindarecreationalactivitythatcouldbeplayedindoorsandhepreferredasportthatwoulddevelopskillandonethatwasnotexclusivelyrelyingonstrength.Thefirstgamewasplayedwithtwopeachbasketsforgoalsandasoccerball.Furthertohiscredit,Naismithbecameamedicaldoctorspecializin
4、ginsportsphysiologyandaPresbyterianminister.Naismithwasabletoseehisbelovedsportofbasketball,gainacceptanceinnumerouscountriesthroughtheYMCAsince1893.Aswell,thesportofbasketballwasbroughtforthattheBerlinOlympicsin1936.Aswespeak,thegameofbasketballhasbecomeaverypopularprofessionalsport.
