2、Thelegislaturefurtherrecognizesthatgoodcooperationandcommunicationbetweenamanufacturerandanewmotorvehicledealerwillconsiderablyincreasethelikelihoodthatanewmotorvehiclewillberepairedwithinareasonablenumberofattempts.Itistheintentofthelegislaturetoensurethattheconsumerismadeaware

3、ofhisorherrightsunderthischapterandisnotrefusedinformation,documents,orservicethatwouldotherwiseobstructtheexerciseofhisorherrights.Inenactingthesecomprehensivemeasures,itistheintentofthelegislaturetocreatetheproperblendofprivateandpublicremediesnecessarytoenforcethischapter,suc

4、hthatamanufacturerwillbesufficientlyinducedtotakenecessarystepstoimprovequalitycontrolatthetimeofproductionorprovidebetterwarrantyserviceforthenewmotorvehiclesthatitsellsinthisstate.WashingtonLemonLawRCW19.118.010Motorvehiclemanufacturers.Expresswarranties;Serviceandrepairfacili

5、ties.Everymanufacturerofmotorvehiclessoldinthisstateandforwhichthemanufacturerhasmadeanexpresswarrantyshallmaintaininthisstatesufficientserviceandrepairfacilitiesreasonablyclosetoallareasinwhichitsmotorvehiclesaresoldtocarryoutthetermsofthewarrantiesordesignateandauthorizeinthis

6、stateasserviceandrepairfacilitiesindependentrepairorservicefacilitiesreasonablyclosetoallareasinwhichitsmotorvehiclesaresoldtocarryoutthetermsofthewarranties.Asameansofcomplyingwiththissection,amanufacturermayenterintowarrantyservicecontractswithindependentserviceandrepairfacili
