3、exi-blemanufacturingsystem(FMS)andcomputerintegratedRecently,FMSandCIMS,whichreplacemanufacturingsystem(CIMS).Recentlyartificialneuralhumanoperatorswitharoboticcounterpartinnetworks(ANNs)areusedforthispurposeinconjunc-manufacturingorassemblycells,havebeencon-tionwith

4、suitablesensorysystems.Thepresentworkincernedinindustrialfield.TheabsenceofhumanNorwegianUniversityofScienceandTechnologyoperatorsrequiresthattheprocess-monitoring(NTNU)usesback-propagationneuralnetworks(BP)functioncontrolledbysensorsassociatedwithaandfuzzyneuralnetw

5、orks(FNN)toprocessthecuttingdecision-makingsystemisabletoanalyzethetoolstatedatameasuredwithforceandacousticemission(AE)sensors,andimplementsavaluableon-linetoolsensoryinputsandmakeanappropriatecontrolconditionmonitoringsystemusingtheANNs.Differentaction.Reliableon-l

6、inecuttingtoolconditioningANNstructuresaredesignedandinvestigatedtoestimatemonitoringisanessentialfeatureofautomaticthetoolwearstatebasedonthefusionofacousticemis-machinetoolandofFMSandCIMStoguaranteesionandforcesignals.Finally,fourcasestudiesarein-thatthetoolisingoo
