2、ympicGames.NeverwillChinaforgetthepromisethatshehasmadetothewholeworld---bySeptember2008,thecapitalwillbeturnedintoa"greencity",withthecleanair,aprettyenvironmentandagoodsystem,tomeetthedemandstohosttheOlympicGames.It'salongwaytogo,andit'salonglonglongw

3、aytogoforustosavetheearth.ForChina,tourismisoneofthemostpromisingindustriesinthe21stcentury.Itprovidespeoplethegreatopportunitytoseeeverythingthereistoseeandtogoanyplacethereistogo.Ithasbecomealifestyleforsomepeople,andhasturnedouttobethedrivingforceinG

4、DPgrowth,ithasthemagictoturnabackwardtownintoawonderlandofprosperity.Butontheotherhand,tourismhascausedmanyproblemsonourenvironment.Accordingtoasurvey,22%ofnaturepreservesinchinahavebeendamagedasaresultofthedevelopmentoftourism,11%ofnaturalresourceshave

5、degenerated.Imagineyouarestandinginaforest,birdsareflyingintheskyandbutterfliesaredancingintheair;redflowers,greengrassareallovertheforest.Thenonedayastrangecreatureappears,walkingonitstwohindlegsandstaringatyou.Greatlyalarmed,youstopsingingandflyaway.S

6、incethen,morecreatureshaveappeared.Theyclearthelandandcutdowntrees.Asaresult,youdon'thaveenoughfoodorshelter.Sadly,youthinkbyyourself,"Maybeitistimeformetogo."Ihatetoseethattheearthenvironmenthaschangedfortheworseduringthepastfewyears:Forestsarecleared,

7、riversandlakespolluted,wildanimalsaredrivenawayandplantsareendangered.Weshouldrealizethatwecannolongerstandbyanddonothing.Becausethenatureisthehomeofhumanbeings.Wemustprotectourenvironment,wemustputourwordsintoourdeeds.Firstofall.Useasfewplasticbagsandb

8、oxesaspossible.Whentraveling,whereverpossible,usepublictransportationinsteadofalwaysdrivingyourowncar.Onemorething,goupandstopitwheneveryouseeanyonedoingsomethingharmfultotheenvironment.Solet'sshakehandstogethernowasfriendsandsee
