5、ifferentimpactconditionshavebeencarriedon.Thetestresults.whichareachievedundertheconditionthatthediameterofprojectileinthenormalimpactis4.0ramandtheimpactvelocityisabout3.0km/s,indicatthatthereislittledifferenceofdamageonrearplatesbetweenthetwoconfigurat
6、ions.Inanothernormalimpacttestwithaprojectilediameterof5.5ramandanimpactvelocityof4.8km/s,thedamagedifferencebecomeconsiderable.andthereisaperforationwithadiameterof2.0mmintherearplateofthetriple—wallconfigurationbutnoperforationhappenstotherearplateofth
7、eN—shapeconfigurationunderthesamecondition.Simulationwiththesameimpactparametersasthetestsiscarriedout.Theresultsshowthatthecriticalprojectilediameterofthetriple—wallconfigurationisabout4.1mmandthatofN—shapeconfigurationisabout4.3ram,whenthevelocityofthe
