4、ment-hostedleadandzincdepositsareeconomicallyimportanttypesoforedeposits.Theseoredepositsaretypicallylocatedattheedgeofstablecontinentcratons.Thestudyofsediment-hostedleadandzincmetallogenicsystemfocusesontherelationshipbetweentime-spaceandore-formingevents.Inou
5、rstudy,weexaminedthelinksinthesequenceofeventsthatleadfromore-formingstages,tooreemplacementandpreservation.Thismethodcanfindouttheoredistribution,oresuppliers,genesis,ore-formingmechanism,andguidethescientificore-searching.Sediment-hostedleadandzincdepositcanbe
6、dividedintothreetypes:1)SedimentaryExhalative(SEDEX),2)Mississippe-Valleytype(MVT)and3)Sandstone-hostedtype(SST).Inourstudyofthethreetypesofsediment-hostedmetallogenicsystems,wecametothefollowingconclusions:(1)InthecaseofSSTdeposits,porosityandpermeabilityoftheh
7、ostsandstonearethemostimportantorecontrols.Forexample,theJindingPb-Zndepositisonlycontrolledmainlybystructureandthehighlyporouscharacterofthehostrockratherthanthesedimentarystrataperse.(2)TheHuizheZn-PbMVTdeposit,theoremetalswereprecipitatedfromhotsalinefluidsas
8、sociatedwithvolcanicsystems.Thegenesisisepigenesisofmixingsolutionore-formingprocess.(3)SEDEXPb-Zndeposits,arespatiallyassociatedwithsyngeneticfaultswhichprovidedthep
