3、loyswithacompositionofTi.45Al一2Cr一2Nb.1B一0.5Ta(at%1(TAalloy)andTi一45Al一2Cr.2Nb.1B.0.5Ta.0.225Y(at%)(TAYalloy)werepreparedbydoublemechanicalmillingandsparkplasmasintering(SPS).TheeffectofYadditiononmicrOstructureandmechanicalpropertiesofTiA1.basedalloyswass

4、tudied.Theresultsshowthatthemorphologyofdoublemechanicalmillingpowderisregularwithsizesintherangeof20-40/am.ThemainphasesofTiA1andTi3A】andfewphasesofTi2AlandTiB2wereobservedintheSPSbulksamplesofTiAl—basedalloys.Theequiaxedcrystalgrainmicrostructurewasachie

5、vedwithsizesintherangeOf100-400nminTAalloysamples.Thesamplesexhibitedcompressivepropertiesatroomtemperaturewithacompressivestrengthof2614MPaandacompressionratioof20.57%.ForTAYalloy.thesizesofequiaxedcrystalgrainobviouslydecreased.Thesamplesexhibitedcompres

6、sivepropertiesatroomtemperaturewithacompressivestrengthof2677MPaandacompressionratioof22.91%.Themicro.hardnessoftheSPSbulksamplesofTAalloywasobviouslyhigherthanthatoftheSPSbulksamplesofTAYalloy.Onthebaseofanalysisoffractographs.itshowedthatthecompressionfr
