3、cusoncoresubjects,asthesecoursesdecidewhethertheycangetintocollegelater.Theknowledgethatisacquiredinthesecountriescanprovideaflyingstartinstudents’careerdevelopment.Ifstudentsneedtospendtimestudyingmoralprinciplesandbehavioralnorms,theyfeeltimepressure.Thereisnodenyingthat
4、moraleducationcanraisestudents’awarenessofsomeimportantvirtues,suchashonesty,integrityandaltruism,whicharecrucialtosocialprogressandsocialcohesion.Ifstudentsrecognizethesevirtues,theywouldunderstandhowtogetalongwithotherpeopleandhowtocareaboutothers’benefits.Inthisway,they
5、canapplytheirknowledgetomakecontributiontosociety,andwillformmeaningfulrelationshipswithothers.Personally,Ithinkthatstudents’understandingofmoralitydeterminestheirsuccess.Thisnotimprovestheirbehavioratschoolbutalsopreventssomebehaviorproblems,suchassmoking,drinkingandsexua
6、lbehaviorandsoon.Theseproblemswillaffecttheirstudentsandcauseirreparable(impossibletorepairormakerightagain)damagetotheircareerdevelopment.Forexample,ifstudentsdonotrealizetheimpactofexcessivedrinking,thishabitmayinfluencetheirworkingperformanceandtheirhomelifeaftertheyrea
7、chadulthood.Inviewoftheimportanceofmoraleducationtosocialdevelopmentandpersonalachievement,itshouldbeincludedinschools’curriculum.Withoutmoraleducation,thesocietyisteemingwithirresponsiblebehaviorwhileyoungpeoplearenotlikelytoleadameaningandfulfillinglife.Topic26Schoolssho
