4、individualsworked,didhouseholdactivities,andengagedinleisureandsportsactivities.Additionally,measuresoftheaveragetimeperdayspentprovidingchildcare--bothasamainactivityandwhiledoingotherthings--forthecombinedyears2006-10areprovided.Exceptforchildcare,activities
5、donesimultaneouslywithprimaryactivitieswerenotcollected.ForafurtherdescriptionofATUSdataandmethodology,seetheTechnicalNote.Working(byEmployedPersons)in2010--Employedpersonsworkedanaverageof7.5hoursonthedaystheyworked.Morehourswereworked,onaverage,onweekdaystha
6、nonweekenddays--7.9hourscomparedwith5.5hours.(Seetable4.)--Onthedaysthattheyworked,employedmenworked41minutesmorethanemployedwomen.Thisdifferencepartlyreflectswomen'sgreaterlikelihoodofworkingparttime.However,evenamongfull-timeworkers(thoseusuallyworking35hour
