2、tasksImportant:Securethevehicleagainstrolling,applyparkingbrakeandsecurewheelswithwheelchocks.Onsomevehicles(Eshift) itisnecessary toshiftthevehicleoutofPark toreplacethemechatronic.Somevehiclesrequiretheunderbody panels,heatshields,exhaustcrossmember andexhaustsy

3、stem toberemovedtogainfullaccesstothetransmission.Removeasnecessary.2.Drainthetransmissionfluidandremovethetransmissionoilpan.Onapplicationswithsteeloilpanalsoremovetheoilfilter.3.Unlockanddisconnect thevehicleelectricalconnectorfromthetransmission.TheMechatronic 

4、(electronic valvebody) locatedwithinthetransmissionisaelectrostatic sensitivedevice,avoidtouchingany electricalpinstopreventESD(electrostaticdischarge) damage.4.Pullthesealingsleevelockingmechanismtotheunlockedpositionandremovethesealingsleeve.Thelockingtabislocat

7、thevehicleagainstrolling,apply parkingbrakeandsecurewheelswithchocks.Useawiretieor mechanicswireandsecuretheemergency releaselever inaslightbackwardspositionasshown.6.MechatronicremovalReleaseandremovethescrewsindicatedinbluetoremovethemechatronic.Note:Therearemec

8、hatronic versionswith10or 13mountingscrews.Becarefulnottodropor roughhandlethemechatronictopreventexternaldamage.7.MechatronicsealadapterRemovethemechat
