2、lespeedpitchregulatedmachinesplayagreaterrole,sincetheyareusedforothertasksthanjustregulatinggeneratorspeed.Thestructuraldynamicsimpactdirectlyontheachievablecontrolsystemperformancebecomingmorerestrictiveasthesizeofwindturbineincreases.Tomakethisdependenceexplicit,

5、isobvious,butwhetherthereisin(Sidi,1980),thelimitationsimposedbythenon-alimittothepossiblesizeofwindturbines,assumingminimumphasenatureofsamplingisinvestigated;thecurrentdominantdesign,isunclear.Furthermore,in(Sidi,1997)criteriatoestimatethelimitsontheaswindturbines
6、getbigger,interestinlightermate-bandwidthimposedbyrighthalfplanezeros(RHPZs)rialsandmoreflexibletowerandbladesincreases.andpolesaregiven;in(SidiandYaniv,1999),pre-Theissuearisesastowhethersomecombinationofviousresultsfrom(Sidi,1997)areextendedtothethesefactors,bigger
