4、kinormembranetobeperceiveddynamicallyasfacadenotonlyonitsfoursidesbutalsotheroof-visiblefromtheaccessroadtotheairportcomplex.Thehotelhas436rooms,aconferencecenter,aspaaccessibledirectlyfromtheairport.Theshelliscurvedaroundasubframeofpultrudedstructuralpro
5、filesandsteelarches,wrappingtheentirelengthofeachbayinasmooth,continuousskin.Thealmostflatroofistreatedasafacadetobeseenfromtheairport,withopeningsontoterraces,light-wellsorinteriorcourts.Theplantextractsandventilation“breath”throughventstwistedoutofthero
6、ofmembrane.GuestRoomBlocksThelayoutsoftheroomsareorganizedinsevenbaysseparatedbycourtyardswhichgiveabar-codeformtotheplanandavoidadirectviewfromtheairportintoguestrooms.Thewesternfaceofthehotelisleftopentoemphasisthehorizontalityofthevolumewithshallowwate
7、rpoolssetintothelowerlevelattheends.FacadeOntheopen(west)sidetheseblocksofroomsarticulatethefacadeinanirregularsequenceofsolidandvoid.ThesolidsinturnarearticulatedbyaseriesofthicksculpturalPVCblackoutcurtainswhichgivebothdepthanddynamictotheoverallelevati
