2、isheconomyreaches30%andtheemploymentrate(excludingagriculture)reaches%10・Afteraperiodofrapidgrowthinthe1980s,theTurkishconstructionsectorwitnessedasignificantdeclinebetween1993and2001;however,asaresultofpoliciesadoptedafterthetwoeconomiccrisesof1999and2001thesectorexperieneedthe
3、startofarecoveryin2002・Increasedeconomicstability,decreasingexchangeandinterestratesandattractiveIong-termloansstimulatedademandforhousing,playingamajorroleinthisprocess;andconsequentgrowthratesof13.9%in2002,7.8%in2003,14.1%in2004,9.3%in2005and18.5%in2006madeconstructionthenumbe
4、ronecontributortotheeconomicgrowthofTurkey.By2007thegrowthrateoftheconstructionsectorreached5.7%fortheyear;however,Turkeyanditsconstructionsector,sufferingundertheeffectsoftheglobalcrisis,experiencedadecreaseof8.1%in2008,followedbyafurther16.1%declinein2009.2010wasarecoveryperio
5、dforboththeconstructionsectorandTurkisheconomy.In2010,constructionsectormaderemarkableprogressandgrewby18.3%・Thegrowthtrendintheindustrycontinuedin2011aswellandreached11.3%bytheendoftheyear.In2012,becauseoftheglobaleconomicstagnation,Turkey'seconomicdevelopmentsloweddownandconst
