1、模块语法聚焦八过去进行时(二)由上一模块我们已经知道，过去进行时表示过去某一时刻或阶段正在进行或持续的动作。过去进行时还可以和when，while或as引导的过去时间状语从句连用构成复合句。1．when引导的时间状语从句既可以指时间点，也可以指时间段；while引导的时间状语只指时间段。因此，在when引导的时间状语从句中，动词可以是终止性动词，也可以是延续性动词；而在while引导的从句中，动词必须是延续性动词。Theyarrivedwhilewewerehavingdinner.＝Theyarrivedwhenwewereh

2、avingdinner.我们吃晚饭时他们到了。2．由when引导的时间状语从句，如果主句用过去进行时，从句应该用一般过去时，表示一个动作正在进行的时候，另一个动作(突然)发生了，强调后一动作发生的突然性。Weweretalkingwhentheteachercamein.我们正在说话时，(突然)老师进来了。Whileweweretalking,theteachercamein.当我们正在说话的时候，老师进来了。(该句只表示老师进来的事实，不强调突然性)3．当从句和主句的动作都是延续性的或同时发生时，即主从句都用过去进行时的时候多
