6、faultoccurs,theequilibriumisdisturbedandthesynchronousmachinesaccelerate.Thepowersystemgainskineticandpotentialenergyduringfault-onperiodandthesystemmovesawayfromtheSEP.Afterfaultcleared,thekineticenergyisconvertedintopotentialenergyinthesamemannerastheballrollingupthepotentialenergysurface.To
