2、hoxidationresistanceat1400℃inaflowofairwassuccessfullyobtainedbyacoatingofoxidethinfilmofeitherzircon(ZrSiO4)ormullite(3Al2O3·2SiO2)coupledwiththinlayerwithagradientofSiCconcentrationonthesurfaceofcarbonmaterial.SiCconcentrationgra2dientwasformedbyadirectdippingintoameltofSimetalat1450℃

3、.Oxidethinfilmsofzirconandmullitewereformedthroughsol2gelprocess.Thecontrolofthehydrolysisratewasakeytotheproductionofahomogeneousthinfilm.Mullitecoatingwasmoreeffectivethanzirconcoating.Theisotropichigh2densitygraphiteblockwithSiCconcentrationgradientandmullitecoatinghadenoughresistanc
