3、ee68.IECistheoldestcontinuouslyfunctioningstandardsorganizationintheworld.In1906,theIECwasgiventheresponsibilityofsecuringthecooperationoftechnicalsocietiestoconsiderthequestionofinternationalelectricalstandardization.ThemembershipofIECconsistsof41nation

4、alcommittees,oneforeachcountry.Thesecommitteesrepresenttheelectricalinterestsofproducers,users,government,educatorsandprofessionalsocietiesofeachcountry.TheMMPAisrepresentedontheUnitedStatesNationalCommitteeofIEC/TC68.Itishopedthatthedatainthispublicatio

5、nwillserveasaguidetogovernmentalandindustrialpurchaserssothattheymaybeassuredofuniformqualitymanufacturedtocommercialstandards.ThesestandardspecificationsweredevelopedundertheauspicesoftheMagneticMaterialsProducersAssociationandwerevoluntarilyestablished
