2、eresponsibleforchildren’seducationandteachthemhowtobegoodmembersofsociety.However,othersadvocatethatschoolistheplacetolearnthis.Inmyopinion,bothofthetwoviewsaretooextremeandshouldcomplementwitheachother.Therearetworeasonsoftheadvocatorsfortheformeropinion.Firstly,parentsarethe
3、firstandmostintimatepeopleofthechildrenaftertheirbirth.Theyearsbeforechildrengoingtoschoolisthemostimportanttimetocultivatetheirhabitsandthesenseofthesociety.Parentsplayvitalroleswhichcannotbereplacedbyschool,inteachingchildrensomebasicsocialrulesandhowtobegoodsocialmembersdur
4、ingthistime.Secondly,parentsusuallyhaveonlyoneorseveralchildren,whichismuchlessthanthatnumberinaclassofschool.Therefore,itisobviousthatparentscanpaymoreattentionandmorefocusontheirchildrencomparedwithteachersinschool.Conversely,ateachermaybenotcapableoftakingcareofandteachingt
5、hechildrentobegoodsocialmembersaswellbecauseofthelimitedenergy.Incontrast,thesupportersofthelatteropinionhaveseveralreasonstosupportit.Ononehand,itisquitecommonthatchildrenspendmoretimeatschoolwithteachers,especiallyforthatfamilieswithbothtwobusyparents.Thisphenomenonindicates
6、thatchildrenhavemoreopportunitiesandtimelearnmoresocialrulesandbehaviorswhichtheyareexpectedfromteachersorevenfromotherchildren.Ontheotherhand,theteachersinschoolaremoreprofessionalinteachingchildrenwiththeirknowledgeofpsychologyandeducation.Sotheycanhandleproblemsofchildrenin
7、differentagesmorescientificallyandguidechildrentobequalifiedmembersofsociety.Overall,Ithinkthattheresponsibilityofteachingchildrenhowtobegoodmembersofsocietybelongstobothparentsandschools.Bothofthemplayirreplaceablerolesinchildren’seducation,butshouldtakecommonbutdifferentiate
