2、underfeedtypemouldThemovinghalfconsistsofthemovingmouldplateassembly,supportblocks,backingplate,ejectorassemblyandthepinejectionsystem.Thusthemovinghalfinthisdesignisidenticalwiththemovinghalfofbasicmoulds.Thefloatingcavityplate,whichmaybeoftheintegerorinsert-bo

3、lsterdesign,islocatedonsubstantialguidepillars(notshown)fittedinthefeedplate.Theseguidepillarsmustbeofsufficientlengthtosupportthefloatingcavityplateoveritsfullmovementandstillprojecttoperformthefunctionofalignmentbetweenthecavityandcorewhenthemouldisbeingclosed

4、.Guidebushesarefittedintothemovingmouldplateandthefloatingcavityplaterespectively.Themaximummovementofthefloatingcavityplateiscontrolledbystopboltsorsimilardevices.Themovingmouldplateissuitablyboredtoprovideaclearanceforthestopboltassembly.Thestopboltsmustbelong

5、enoughtoprovidesufficientspacebetweenthefeedplateandthefloatingcavityplateforeasyremovalofthefeedsystem.Theminimumspaceprovidedforshouldbe65mmjustsufficientforanoperatortoremovethefeedsystembyhandifnecessary.Thedesiredoperatingsequenceisforthefirstdaylighttooccu

6、rbetweenthefloatingcavityplateandthefeedplate.Thisensuresthesprueispulledfromthespruebushimmediatelythemouldisopened.Toachievethissequence,springsmaybeincorporatedbetweenthefeedplateandthefloatingcavityplate.Thespringsshouldbestrongenoughtogiveaninitialimpetusto
