2、ecognizesthevalueofwell-writtencompanypersonnelpoliciesandprocedures.OvertheyearsPIChaspublishedsampleemployeehandbooklanguagecoveringbasicemploymentpolicies.Membershaveusedthislanguageasaguideincreatingwrittenpoliciesandprocedurescoveringthecompany’se
3、mploymentpracticesandphilosophies.Thispublication,likeothersbeforeit,doesnotclaimtobeall-inclusiveorafinalproduct.NewStateandFederallawsandlegaldecisionswillrequirethissampletobeupdated,alongwiththecompany'semployeehandbook,toreflectthesechanges.Furthe
4、r,eachcompanymustdevelopanemployeehandbook,whichreflectstheemploymentpracticesuniquetothecompany'soperationandphilosophies.Consequently,apublicationsuchasthissamplemustbeflexibleandopenendedtoaccommodatethesedifferencesinemploymentpracticesandphilosoph
5、ies.Ininitiatingorrevisingyourcompanypersonnelpoliciesoremployeehandbook,donothesitatetocallDougMoore,VicePresidentofHumanResources,forassistance.Althoughanefforthasbeenmadetoprovidesamplelanguage,whichisconsistentwithapplicablelaw,employersusingthisor
