1、EducationalPlanforMasterDegreeProgramBridgeandTunnelEngineeringMajor(081406)BriefIntroductiontotheSubjectTheBridgeandTunnelEngineeringdisciplineinTongjiUniversitywasfoundedbyProfessorGuohaoLiin1952.ItwasoneofthetwoeariiestBridgeandTunnelEngineeringdisciplinesinChina,andhasbeentongestablishe
2、dsincaIn1981,itwasinthefirstbatchofdisciplinestostartconferringM.S.andPh.D.degreesinStructuralEngineering,includingbridgeandtunnelengineering,andin1986,itwasinthefirstbatchtosetuppostdoctorateprogramandbeawardedthenationalkeydiscipline.ThefirstBridgeEngineeringDepartmentinChinawasestablishe
3、datTongjiUniversityin1987,andindependentBridgeandTunnelEngineeringgraduateprogramsweresetupforM.S.degreein1988,andforPh.D.degreeandpostdoctorateprogramin1990.In1998,theBridgeandTunnelEngineeringdisciplineinTongjiUniversitybecameoneofthefirstfewdisciplinestoopenfull-professorshippositionsund
4、ertheChangjiangScholarAwardProgramoftheMinistryofEducation(MOE),andwasnamedasthekeydisciplineforthenational211ProjectItwasselectedastheMainKeyDisciplineofShanghaiin2000,andastheNationalKeyDisciplinefrom2001until2007.TheBridgeandTunnelEngineeringdisciplinenowhas24fullprofessors(including19Ph
5、.Dstudentsupervisors),19alecturers,2academiciansintheChineseAcademyofEngineering,1MOEChangjiangScholarAwardfullprofessor,and1MOENewCenturyTalentThebaseforteachingandresearcharethreebuildings,eachfortheBridgeEngineering,theWindEngineeringandtheTJ-1Wind-Tunnel,withtotalstructuralareasof9,000s
6、quaremeters.Themainfacilitiesforteachingandresearchinclude4boundarylayerwindtunnels(includingthelargestboundarylayerwindtunnelintheworldtheTJ3windtunnel),theheaviesttwowaydynamicandstaticHydraulicServoLoadingSysteminChina,theOnx屮3800parallelcomputingserverfromSGIcompany,therearprojectionvir
