3、incontentandstructureareproposed.InSection2,fivebasicEOQModelsandtheconceptandmodelofquantitydiscountsaredescribed.InSection3,consideringthesituationofsingleproductandsinglesupplierfromtheperspectiveofcustomers.Thereexisttwokindsofpricediscountthatsuppliergivesclie
4、nts.Oneisall-quantitydiscount,thatis,whentheorderquantityexceedagivenlevel,alloftheorderquantityaregivenapricediscounton.Theotherisincrementaldiscount,thatis,whentheorderquantityexceedagivenlevel,theexcessisgivenapricediscounton.Tosolvetheinventoryproblemwiththesek
5、indsofpricediscount,costsareusuallyexpressedbypiecewisefunctions.Theminimumofcostandtheminimumpointforeverypiecearesoughtforfirst,andtheglobalminimumandminimumpointarefoundthenbycomparingthepiecewiseminimums.Fortheproblemwe,byintroducingthebinaryvariables,developam
6、ixed-integernon-linearprogrammingmodel,whichinvolveswhethertheholdingcostdependsontheprice.ForclassicalEQQmodelwithconstantprices,thebestchoiceisthesamequantitytoordereverytime.Butitisnotsoforthemodelinwhichpriceschangewithorderquantities.Soweconsidertheextensionmo
7、delinwhichorderquantitiesmaybenotthesame.Insection4,themultiproductcaseisdeseribed.theallmodelsseektosynchronizethereplementoftheproductstopreventtheirdisorganizedarrivalandtheresultingcostsofthemanagementofthecargoandstorage.Numericalexamplesarepresentedthroughout
