1、AbstractTechnicalBarrierstoTrade(TBT)sprungupin1980’sandgotpopularovertheworldforitsinvisibility,flexibilityandapparentlyrationality,underthesystemofGATTandWTO.Toprotectdomesticindustries,developedcountrieswithhightechnicallevelaremoreinclinedtotakeTBTmeasu
2、restolimitimportedgoodsfromothercountries,especiallyinthetradingfieldofAgriculturalproductswheretradeprotectionismprevails.AgricultureisabigandtraditionalpropertyinChina,andthetradeofagriculturalproductsisplayinganimportantroleinChina’sinternationaltradeeve
3、ryyear.However,China’stradeofagriculturalproductsisgraduallyexperiencingadeficitsince2004.Atthesametime,thetradefrictionscausedbytechnicalbarriersalsoariseamongcountries.TechnicalbarriershaveaffectedChina’sexportofagriculturalgoodsandbecomeanimportantissuen
4、eededtopayattention.Firstly,thispapertheoreticallydefinesandanalyzestechnicalbarrierstotradefromitsconception,maincharacters,formsaswellascauses.Bydeeplystudyingitsworkingmechanism,thispapershowshowTBTmakesitsinfluenceonexporter’seconomy.Secondly,combiningt
5、hepresentexportsituationwithmaintechnicalbarriersimplementedbyforeigncountries,thispaperqualitativelyanalyzestheimpactofforeignTBTmeasuresonChina’sexportofagriculturalproducts.Thirdly,basedonthepanelexportdatatoUSA,JapanandEUfrom2002to2013,thispaperintroduc
6、esavirtualvariableandsetupatradegravitymodeltofindouttherelationshipbetweenthem.TheempiricalstudyrevealsthattheGDPofChina,USA,JapanandEUseparatelyhaveapositiveimpactontheexportofChina’sagriculturalgoods.WhilewiththeimplementationofTBTsfromthesecountriesaswe
7、llastheappreciationofRMB,China’sagriculturalproductsexporthassufferedanegativeeffect.Thewholeexportamountwillgodownby0.33%eachtimewhenbigchangeshappenintechnicalstandards,andfallby0.72%astheexchangerategrowsby1%.Comingtothelastchapter,thispaperbringsupitsco
