1、Lesson23OHM’SLAWTextDEFINITIONOFOHM’SLAWOhm’slawdescribesmathematicallyhowcurrent,voltage,andresistancearerelated.GeorgOhmdeterminedexperimentallythatifthevoltageacrossaresistorisincreased,thecurrentwillalsoincrease,and,likewise,ifthevoltageisdecreased,thecurrent
2、willdecrease①.Forexample,ifthevoltageisdoubled,thecurrentwilldouble.Ifthevoltageishalved,thecurrentwillalsobehalved.ThisrelationshipisillustratedinFigure23.1,withmeterindicationsofvoltageandcurrent.Ohm’slawalsostatesthatifthevoltageiskeptconstant,lessresistancere
