3、rocarbons(PAHs)areoneofthemostmajorpollutantsinsoilundercokingplants.Inordertounderstandthecharacteristicsofaccumulationandverticaldistributionof16USEPApriorityPAHsinsoil,GC/MSwasusedtoanalyze16PAHsin587soilsamplestakenfromdifferentdepthsof0—18mundercokingplant.Theresultsshowedth
4、at,thehighestand-1-1averageconcentrationoftotalPAHswere14363.7mg·kgand190.4mg·kgrespectively,indicatingthatthesoilundercokingplanthadbeenpolluted.ThedominantcomponentswerelowmolecularweightPAHs,accountingforabout85%.TheconcentrationsofPAHshadobviousfluctuationatvariouslayers,andt
5、heirconcentrationchangewasparallel.Therewasanobviouscumulativeeffectin5—6msoillayer,whichmightbeduetodifferentfiltrationcapabilityofsoilindifferentlayersandPAHsleachingability.BasedontheprincipalcomponentandQ-clusteringanalysis,theentiresoilprofilecouldbeclassifiedinto5differentl
6、ayers:0—1m,1—3m,3—5m,5—6m,6—18m.TheconcentrationorderoflowmolecularweightPAHswas5—6m>0—1m>3—5m>1—3m>6—18m,whereasthatofhighmolecularweightPAHs0—1m>5—6m>1—3m>3—5m>6—18m.AssessmentofthePAHscompoundratios,Ant/(Ant+Phe)andFlt/(Flt+Pyr),suggestedthatcoalcombustionwasthemaincontaminati
7、onsourceofthesoilunderthiscokingplantandtheemissionofcokinggasandtheleakofcoaltarmightalsobeprimarycontaminationroutes.Insummary,theresultsinthispaperillustratedtheaccumulationanddistributionrulesofPAHsin0—18msoilprofileunderacokingplant,andalsoprovidedsomeimportantdatawhichwould
