1、附录1英文原文英文原文CHAPTERIIICOSTSTUDYOFHIGH-SPEEDCUTTINGUNDERDRYANDWETCONDITIONSFORMACHININGPROCESSESOPTIMIZATION3.1IntroductionTheaimofthisstudyistooptimizethemachiningprocessesbyinvestigatingtherelationshipbetweenthehighspeedmachining(HSM)andthetoollifeforthecuttingconditionsundertesting.Fur
2、thermore,studyingtheeffectofcuttingfluidontheselectedwearcriterion,andrelationshipbetweendifferentwearcriteriaandmachiningcostforthecuttinginsertsunderHSM.Thisinvestigationshowedthatwearrateisproportionaltocuttingspeedsupportedwithsimilarobservations[12,18,19].Studyingthecorrelationbetw
3、eenhighwearratesathighcuttingspeedandmachiningcosts,providesbetterunderstandingontheperformanceofthispolicyandthebenefitofitsadoption.Currently,littleornodatahavebeenpublishedrelatingthelife-cyclecosts,toolperformance,workpiecesurfaceroughnessandworkpiecedimensionalaccuracywhenusingsoli
4、dandindexablecutters[10].However,studieshavefoundthattoolcostsinmetalcuttingmachinesareathirdofthecostofproducingparts.Thereforereducingproductcostisthefirstobjectiveofatoolmanagementsystem[16].Thebenefitsofadoptingthisresearchguidelinewillhelpdeterminetheoptimalmachiningcostandtoolrepl
5、acementpolicybasedondifferentwearcriterionvalues.Additionallythisstudyprovidesinsightinprocesscontrolandhelpsthemanagersintheearlyprocessplanningstepstoassociatefactorssuchaspreventivemaintenance,levelsofinventory,andmachiningcost.3.2ExperimentalStudyThestudydevelopedaguidelineofchoosin
6、gtherightcuttingtool,cuttingspeed,andselectingtheappropriatewearcriteriaofthecuttingtoolinsertsfortheworkmaterialunderstudy.Inthisstudyvariablewearcriteriarangingfrom0.1mmto0.6mm(toollifelimit)weretakenintoconsideration.ThisexperimentwasconductedinaccordancewiththeInternationalStandardO
