5、rldapplication.AprototypeofamicroscopeslidedryerhadbeendevelopedaroundanOmegaTMmodelCN-390temperaturecontroller,andtheobjectivewastodevelopacustomtemperaturecontrolsystemtoreplacetheOmegasystem.Themotivationwasthatacustomcontrollertargetedspecificallyfortheapplicatio

6、nshouldbeabletoachievethesamefunctionalityatamuchlowercost,astheOmegasystemisunnecessarilyversatileandequippedtohandleawidevarietyofapplications.ThemechanicallayoutoftheslidedryerprototypeisshowninFigure1.Themainelementofthedryerisalarge,insulated,air-filledchamberin
