1、EARLYINTERVENTIONTRANSPORTATIONSERVICESAGREEMENT(SmallCarrier)THISAGREEMENT,madeandenteredintoasofthe1stdayofJuly,2014,byandbetweentheWarrenCountySchoolDistrict(thenDistrictn),theNorthwestTri-CountyIntermediateUnit(the“I.U.''),and(thenSubcontractorn),isbeingexecutedunderthefollowi
2、ngcircumstances:A.TheLU.isresponsibleforprovidingtransportationtothosechildrenwhoparticipateintheI.U/searlyinterventionprogram.B・TheDistrictbearsafinancialresponsibilityforthetransportationofearlyinterventionstudentsthroughadeductionfromtheDistrict^subsidypaymentspursuantto24PS§25
3、-2509.1.C.Inordertoincreasetheefficiencyofearlyinterventiontransportationservicesandinordertoreducethecostassociatedwithearlyinterventiontransportationservices,theLU.desirestocontractwiththeDistricttoprovidesaidtransportationservicesfortheLU.andtheDistrictdesirestoprovidesaidtrans
4、portationservicestotheI.U.,withthemutualunderstandingthat,indoingso,theDistrictwillutilizetheSubcontractoridentifiedabove.D.TheDistrict,throughitsTransportationManager,hastheknowledgeandexperiencenecessarytocreateandmanagetheearlyinterventionroutesinanefficientandcost-effectiveman
5、ner.E.TheSubcontractorisaprivatetransportationcompanywiththeequipment,facilitiesandabilitytoprovidethetransportationservicesrequired.NOW,THEREFORE,inconsiderationofthemutualrightsandobligationscontainedherein,andintendingtobelegallyboundhereby,thepartiesheretoagreeasfollows:1.Prov
6、isionofServicesbySubcontractor.Uponthetermsandconditionshereinaftersetforth,theDistrict,throughtheutilizationoftheSubcontractor,agreestoprovidetransportationservicesforthoseearlyinterventionstudentsdesignatedbytheLU.toandfromsuchpoints,alongandoversuchroutes,andatsuchtimesassetfor
7、thonapprovedroutesandstops,asdeterminedattheDistrict'ssolediscretion.ThepartiesheretoexpresslyacknowledgeandagreethattheDistrictandSubcontractorshallonlybeobligatedhereundertotransportearlyinterventionstudentstoandfromschoolontheschooldaysestablishedbytheLU.andnothinghereinshallbe
