3、emonstrationofthepracticalapplicationofCNT,atrainingsessionwhereeachapplicantcanpracticeandperfecttheutilizationandemploymentofCNT,awrittenquizandapracticalexam.(NOTE:Thelectureandtheexamquestionsarebasedonthe7theditionoftheCleanNeedleTechniqueManualforAcupuncturists.Studyingfromapr
4、eviouseditionoftheManualmayresultinlowerexamscores.)Sincethiscourseisnotintendedtobeyourfirstneedlingexperience,ifyouarecurrentlyenrolledinacupunctureschoolyoumusteitherhavecompletedorbegunatechniquescourse.Ifyouhavenotcompletedoratleastbegunatechniquescourse,youshouldpostponetheCNT
5、courseuntilyouhavecompletedthisrequirement.YOUMUSTBEONTIME.Registrationwillbeginat8am.Thelecturewillbeginat8:30am.Ifyouarrivelaterthan8:30am,youwillnotbeallowedtotakethisadministrationofthecourse,andyouwillberequiredtore-payandre-scheduleyourcoursedate.Inordertoreceiveacertificateof
6、completion,applicantsmustattendthisentirecourseandmaynotmissanypartofit.Thecourseusuallyendsby5pm,butwecannotguaranteeit,sopleasebepreparedtostayuntil6pmifnecessary.PurposeoftheCNTCourseNationalcertificationinthefieldofacupuncturerequiresanapplicanttohavesuccessfullycompletedanappro
7、vedCNTcourse.AlthoughneedlingtechniqueandsafetyisarequiredcourseataccreditedacupunctureschoolsintheU.S.,theNCCAOMaswellasmanystatelicensingboardsrecognizethatindependentverificationofCNTcompetencybyacupuncturepractitionersisessentialintheinterestofpublicsafety.CNTCourseObjectivesByt
