4、4],ofaclassofdegener-ateellipticoperatorsdefinedonmanifoldswithcorners,whichariseinPop-ulationBiology.UsingtechniquespioneeredbyJ.Moser,andextendedandrefinedbyL.Saloff-Coste,Grigor'yan,andSturm,weshowthatweakso-lutionstotheparabolicproblemdefinedbyasub-classoftheseoperators,w
5、hichconsistsofthosethatcanbedefinedbyDirichletformsandhavenon-vanishingtransversevectorfield,satisfyaHarnackinequality.Thisallowsustoconcludethatthesolutionstotheseequationsbelong,forpositivetimes,tothenaturalanisotropicH¨olderspaces,andalsoleadstoupperand,insomecases,lowerb
