2、saworldwideproblemsextraffickingisahigherprofitcriminalindustrythatcausesseveretraumastovictims’smindandbodyaswellasharmtosocialstabilityandhumanrights.Withregardtothisissue,Mongoliahasanumberofchildrenandwomenwhoaresubjectedtosextraffickinginallitsforms,suchascoercion,fra
3、ud,abduction.Mongoliahasalwaysbeenpayingattentiontothisproblem,preventingsextraffickingactivitiesandprotectingvictimsincooperationwithNGOs,internationalorganizationsandforeigndonors.Nevertheless,Mongoliadoesnotfullycomplywiththeminimumstandardsfortheeliminationofsextraffic
4、king,andgovernmentfailsineffectiveenforcementtoidentifyandprotectvictimsofsextrafficking,thereforefewvictimscomeforwardtoassistintheprosecutionoftheirtraffickers.Besides,theawarenessofthepublicisimperfectinMongolia.Corruptionamonglawenforcementpersonnelremainsasignificantp
5、robleminMongoliaposingabarriertoanti-traffickingprogres.Agroupofvictimsofsexualexploitationareunabletorealizetheircivil,political,socialandculturalrightswithoutbettersalvationandconcern.What’smore,thesocialstigmaofprostitutedwomenhinderstheirphysicalandmentalrecoveryandint
6、egrationintofamilyandsociety.Facingthesituation,Mongoliaintendstorespondpositivelyandwouldliketoaddresstheissueinwaysasfollowsdespiteitsrelativelybackwardeconomy.Mongoliaapproachestheissuefromtwoaspectswithbothdomesticandinternationalendeavors.Tobeginwith,domesticallyspeak
7、ing,thegovernmentofMongoliafocusoncombatingsextraffickinginsuchcitieswithfrequentpopulationflowasUlanBator,Oyunchimegerdene,andDarhan.Specifically,thegovernmentsetsasprimetargetsbrothel,domesticminorsextrafficking,sextourism,commercialsexualexplorationofchildren,andconcent
