9、flyingtoIndiawherehewouldhavenotimetohimself.OnhisreturntoCalifornia,inFebruary1983,hedictatedthefirstofthepiecescontainedinthisvolumeintoanewSonytape-recorder.Allthedictationsexceptonewererecordedfromhishome,PineCottage,intheOjaiValley,someeightymilesnorthofLosAngeles.Hewoulddictateinthemor
10、nings,whileinbedafterbreakfast,undisturbed.KrishnamurtihadfirststayedatPineCottagewithhisbrotherin1922,whenitwaslenttohimbyafriend,anditwasthere,inAugust,'22,thatheunderwentaspiritualexperiencethattransformedhislife.Soonafterwards,aTrustwasformedtowhichmoneywassubscribedtobuythecottageandsix
