2、IONALMATHEMATICSGCEORDINARYLEVEL(2015)INTRODUCTIONThesyllabuspreparesstudentsadequatelyforA-LevelH2Mathematics,whereastrongfoundationinalgebraicmanipulationskillsandmathematicalreasoningskillsarerequired.Thecontentisorganisedintothreestrands,namely,Algebra,G
3、eometryandTrigonometry,andCalculus.Besidesconceptualunderstandingandskillproficiencyexplicatedinthecontentstrand,thedevelopmentofprocessskills,namely,reasoning,communicationandconnections,thinkingskillsandheuristics,andapplicationsandmodellingarealsoemphasis
4、ed.TheO-LevelAdditionalMathematicssyllabusassumesknowledgeofO-LevelMathematics.AIMSTheO-LevelAdditionalMathematicssyllabusaimstoenablestudentswhohaveanaptitudeandinterestinmathematicsto:•acquiremathematicalconceptsandskillsforhigherstudiesinmathematicsandtos
