2、IAMENTANDTHECOUNCILOFTHEEURO-thereofandhighlightedtheneedtoreviewthatDirectivePEANUNION,withaviewtoitspossibleamendment,inparticularwithrespecttothestageIIlimitsreferredtotherein.Itisthere-forenecessarytoextendbytwoyearsthedeadlineforsub-HavingregardtotheTreatyestablishingtheEuropeanCommu-missionoft
3、hereporttotheEuropeanParliamentandtonity,andinparticularArticle95thereof,theCouncilontheCommission’sexperienceinimple-mentingandadministeringDirective2000/14/ECasreferredtoinArticle20(1)ofthatDirective.HavingregardtotheproposalfromtheCommission,HavingregardtotheopinionoftheEuropeanEconomicand(5)Arti
4、cle20(3)ofDirective2000/14/ECprovidesfortheSocialCommittee(1),submission,bytheCommission,ofareporttotheEuro-peanParliamentandtotheCouncilonwhether,andtowhatextent,technicalprogressallowsareductionoflimitAfterconsultingtheCommitteeoftheRegions,valuesforlawnmowersandlawntrimmers/lawn-edgetrimmers.Invi
5、ewofthefactthattheobligationscontainedinArticle20(1)ofthatDirectivearemoreprescriptivethanActinginaccordancewiththeprocedurelaiddowninArticle251thoseinArticle20(3),andinordertoavoidduplicationofoftheTreaty(2),effort,itisappropriatetoincludethesetypesofequipmentinthegeneralreportprovidedforinArticle2
6、0(1)ofthatDirective.Consequently,theseparatereportingobligationWhereas:inArticle20(3)ofthatDirectiveshouldbedeleted.(1)Directive2000/14/ECoftheEuropeanParliamentandoftheCouncil(3)hasbeenthesubjectofareviewbythe(6)SincetheobjectiveofthisDirective,namely,toensuretheWorkingGrouponOutdoorEquipment,setup
