2、morethan60countriesandregionsaccountsforabout25%oftheworld’stotalannualhoneyexportwiththeannualforeignexchangeearningsofabout100millionU.S.Dollars.However,withthedeepeningoftradeliberalizationandthegrowingofinternationaltradeactivities,internationalcompetitionofhoneytradehasalsobecomeincreasingl
3、yfierce.Therefore,analyzingandcomparingtheexportcompetitivenessofhoneybetweenChinaandotherleadingexportershaveimportantpracticalsignificancetounderstandingthesituationofChina’shoneyexports,promotingthestabledevelopmentofChina’sapiculture,andincreasingtheincomeoffarmers.1Honeyproductionandtradeof
4、theworld1.1HoneyproductionoftheworldAccordingtothe2006ChinaAgricultureYearbook,therearemorethan30countrieswithrelativelymoreswarms.Amongthem,thetoptencountriesareChina,Turkey,Russia,Iran,Ethiopia,Argentina,Tanzania,theUnitedStates,Kenya,andSpain.Inrecentyears,numberofswarmofthesetencountriesalmo
5、staccountsforabout58%ofthetotalnumberaroundtheworld.AndChinaalwaystakesthefirstplacewithabout12%.Honeyoutputintheworldis960thousandtonsinthe1980s,1100thousandtonsinthe1990s,andmorethan1200thousandtonsaftertheyear2000,showingatrendofstablegrowthyearbyyear.Intheyear2006,world’stotaloutputofhoneyre
6、aches1438.3thousandtons,anincreaseof49.8%comparedwiththe1980s.Countrieswithmorethan50tonsofannualhoneyoutputaremainlyChina,Turkey,Argentina,Ukraine,UnitedStates,Mexico,RussiaandIndia.HoneyoutputinChinahasrankedthefirstintheworld,Accountingforabout20%oftheworld’stotaloutputsincetheyear2002.1.2Hon
