1、AbstractThePowerindustryworldwideisexperiencingunprecedentedrestructuringforbreakingtraditionalmonopoly,introducingcompetitionandestablishingelectricitymarkets.Intheelectricitymarketenvironment,formaximizingtheirprofits,generationcompaniesasindependenteconomyentitiesneedto

2、submittheirbiddingstrategiestomarketoperators.Inthenewelectricitymarketenvironments,profitsofgenerationcompaniesdependonalargeextent,onbiddingstrategiesemployed.Hence,thisdissertationfocusesonthestudyofoptimalbiddingstrategiesofgenerationcompanies.Developingbiddingcurveofg
