2、浙江绍兴）。谢灵运这位淝水之战前敌指挥之一谢玄的孙子，是东晋南北朝最重要的门阀士族谢家的子弟，从小受着特殊的厚待和众人的瞩目。因为谢家三代单传，为了使谢灵运顺利成人，信奉道教的家庭就把他送到钱塘杜明师的道馆中寄养。于是，谢灵运就有了“客儿”“阿客”的小名，后代人也习惯称他为谢客。寄居钱塘时，笃志好学，博览群书，为他日后的文学创作打下了坚实的基础。谢灵运是我国第一个大量创作山水诗的诗人。在谢灵运之前，山水草木一直是诗歌的一种点缀，山水只作为背景出现。谢灵运开始以山水为主要描写对象，用精致工整的语言刻画山水的秀美，创造
