3、,whoisreturningtonighttothealmamaterwheresheservedasaMarshallscholar,aswellasMarilynPiels,anothercentralmemberofourHealtheKidsteam.IamhumbledtobelecturinginaplacethathaspreviouslybeenfilledbysuchnotablefiguresasMotherTheresa,AlbertEinstein,RonaldReagan,RobertKennedyandMalcolmX.I
4、'veevenheardthatKermittheFroghasmadeanappearancehere,andI'vealwaysfeltakinshipwithKermit'smessagethatit'snoteasybeinggreen.I'msurehedidn'tfinditanyeasierbeingupherethanIdo!AsIlookedaroundOxfordtoday,Icouldn'thelpbutbeawareofthemajestyandgrandeurofthisgreatinstitution,nottomentio
5、nthebrillianceofthegreatandgiftedmindsthathaveroamedthesestreetsforcenturies.ThewallsofOxfordhavenotonlyhousedthegreatestphilosophicalandscientificgeniuses–theyhavealsousheredforthsomeofthemostcherishedcreatorsofchildren'sliterature,fromJ.R.R.TolkientoCSLewis.TodayIwasallowedtoh
6、obbleintothedininghallinChristChurchtoseeLewisCarroll'sAliceinWonderlandimmortalizedinthestainedglasswindows.AndevenoneofmyownfellowAmericans,thebelovedDrSeussgracedthesehallsandthenwentontoleavehismarkontheimaginationsofmillionsofchildrenthroughouttheworld.IsupposeIshouldstartb
