3、TCLPtestingofawasteandwhetheraBDATprocessisprovidingacceptableperformance.Ifadecompositionincludinghydrochloricacidisrequiredforcertainelements,itisrecommendedthatMethod3050Abeused.Digestsproducedbythemethodaresuitableforanalysisbyflameatomicabsorption(FLAA),graphitefurnaceatomicabsorpti

5、inganalysesusingMethod3051.2.0SUMMARYOFMETHOD2.1Arepresentativesampleofupto0.5gisdigestedin10mLofconcentratednitricacidfor10minusingmicrowaveheatingwithasuitablelaboratorymicrowaveunit.Thesampleandacidareplacedinafluorocarbon(PFAorTFM)microwavevessel.Thevesseliscappedandheatedinthemicrow

6、aveunit.Aftercooling,thevesselcontentsarefiltered,centrifuged,orallowedtosettleandthendilutedtovolumeandanalyzedbytheappropriateSW-846method(Ref.1).3.0INTERFERENCES3.1Veryreactiveorvolatilematerialsthatmaycreatehighpressureswhenheatedmaycauseventingofthevesselswithpotentiallossofsamplean
