2、REWORDThisIndianStandardwasadoptedbytheBureauofIndianStandards,afterthedraftfinalizedbythePigIronandCastIronSectionalCommittee,hadbeenapprovedbytheMetallurgicalEngineeringDivisionCouncil.Thisstandardwasfirstpublishedin1960andsubsequentlyrevisedin1967,1976and1989.Whil
3、ereviewingthisstandard,inviewoftheexperiencegained,theCommitteehasdecidedtoreviseitincorporatingthefollowingmodifications:a)Amendmentsissuedhavebeenincorporated..b)Definitionofvarioustermshavebeenincorporated.c)Aclauseontypeofjointsandinter-connectionhasbeenincorpora
