2、nbetweendifferentlayerofhardwareandsoftwareinthesystemisbecomingmorefrequency.Itenhancesthecouplingofsystemandmakesfaultdiagnosisusingsystemlogsdifficult.Thetraditionalsystemfaultdiagnosisbasedonlogreliesonartificialanalysis.Itisdifficulttoanalyzesysteminre
3、al-timeandcomprehensive,whendealingwithmassiveloggeneratedbydifferentcomponentsinmodemsystem.Therefore,itisasignificantmeaningforcurrentmanagementofcomputersystemthattodesignalogmanagementandanalysissystem・Theunifiedmanagementandanalysissystemforlog(UiLog)c
4、ollectfaultlogsgeneratedbyeachcomponentofcloudsystemandprovidemanagementandanalysisfunctions.Whenafailureoccurs,UiLogwilldeterminethefaultcatalogandsorttheentirefaultlogsincausalitytohelpadministratorforfaultdiagnosing.Firstly,UiLogmanageallthelogsinthesys
5、temtoensureUiLogcanobtaintheinformationoffault.Secondly,UiLogtakead・vantageofnewfaultclassificationmeasuretoreducethedependencyofhumanknowledgelibrary.ThroughtheFaultKeywordMatrix,UiLogcanclassifyfaultlogefficiency.Ontheotherhand,UiLogimprovesthetraditional
6、faultcorrelationanalysisbasedontime.Usingtheresultoffaultclassificationtodeterminethesizeoftimewindows,itcanimproveaccuracyoffaultclassificationandhelpadministratorforfindingtherootcauseoffault.TheresultofevaluationshowsthatUiLogcanmanagelogsofentiresystem
7、andclassifylogsbyfaulttype.Meanwhile,UiLogalsocanfindroot-causeoffault.Forlogclassification,thenewapproachimprovestheaccuracyoffaultclassificationto95%.Forlogcorrelation,thetruncationfaultrateandcollisionfaultratedeclinesto20%and30%respectively.Keywords:
