2、ingifthereisgradecreepduetothenewtestingrequirements.Specificallywewillbecapturingthestudent’sfinalgradealongwithqualitypointswhenawarded,andcreditsearned.Thisnewrequirementappliestoallclasseswhereagradeisawardedandforallstudentsingrades9-12forthe2010-

3、2011schoolyear.Othergradelevelswillbeaddedinthe2011-2012and2012-2013schoolyears.Thedepartmentisalsorequestingthatfinalgradesfor9thgradersinthe2009-2010schoolyearbereportedtoEIS.StudentClassFinalGradeMainGoals:MaketheEISApplicationmoreinclusiveMakeourst

4、atemorecompetitivewhenapplyingforfederalgrantopportunitiessuchasRacefortheTopfundsEaseschoolcounselor’staskofobtainingtranscriptsfromtransferstudents/schoolsAllowthestatetocheckforgradecreepStudentClassFinalGradeBUSINESSRULES:Districtsshouldreportallst

5、udentclassfinalgrades.ThisdatawillbereportedviaanewEISextract“080-StudentFinalGrade”.The“080-StudentFinalGrade”shouldbegeneratedandreportedforeachstudentenrolledinaclassduringtheschoolyearwhenthestudent’sfinalgradeisposted.Theextractistobesentfromthest

6、udent’shomeschoolforstudentswhoattendsummerschool.Summerschoolgradeswillbesentforthejustendedschoolyear.Example,ifsummerschoolstartsJune1,2011andendsAugust5,2011itwillbereportedinthe2010-2011schoolyear.StudentClassFinalGradeThe“080-StudentFinalGrade”sh

7、ouldbegeneratedwheneveraout-of-stateoraprivateschooltransferclassisenteredintoacademichistory.Thisrecordshouldhavea“Y”intheTransferredfromPrivateorOut-of-Sate.ClassestransferredfromanotherTennesseepublicschoolshouldnotbesent,thewillhavebeensentbytheirf
