3、dingindustryofChinahasbeengrowingsteadilysincethe1980s・EspeciallyaftertheAsianfinancialcrisisin1997,ourshipbuildingindustryhasbeendevelopingdramatically>ThetotaltonnageofshipbuildingofChinain2007hasamountto1&93milliontons,thegrowthrateis30%thanlastyeanAtpresentall

4、shipyardslocatedinmainlandofChinaholdtheordersforshipareupto158.89milliontons,therateofgrowthis131%than2007>TheoutputofshipbuildingofChinahasexceededoneofJapanandoccupiedthesecondplaceintheworld.ThetrendthatfocusoftheworldsshipbuildinghasmovedtoChinaisestablished.

5、Asweknown,buildingashipinvolvesmanycomponentparts,suchashall,cabin,deck,engine,propellerandhelmandsoon.Amongthemengineisthemostimportantpartanditiscalledtheheartofship>Itisbecauseitprovidesthepowerforship.DalianMarineDieselWorks(abbrevDMD)isoneofthekeyenterprisesm

6、anufacturedmarinelow-speeddieselsinourcountry.Nowthereare1150officersandworkersinDMD.Itsmainproductsareaseriesofmarinediesels,themanufacturingtechnologiesinwhichareintroducedfromtheMAN-B&WCompanyofDenmarkandtheSULZERCompanyofSwitzerland(ItisincorporatedintoWartsil
