3、etransportationsystem,ChineseairlinecompanieshavesignedtheGAAAA(GlobalAirlineAllianceAdherenceAgreement).Theirmanagementmodelhasalsochangedfromoperatinginternationalroutesindependently,toaneweraofcode-sharing,cooperationbased,internationaloperations.Thisrequiresbothservicecontentandservicequa

4、lityofairlineservicepersonneltomeetinternationalstandards.Asaresult,newchallengesarebeingfacedbyEnglishteachingofthecivilaviationservicemanagementmajoratHVTI.Accordingtotheairlinecompanieswheremostofstudentshavetheirinternship,lackofEnglishlisteningandspeakingabilityisbecomingoneofthemaindeve

5、lopmentalchallengesofaviationservicestudents.Infact,theEnglishcapabilitiesofcurrentstudentsofcivilaviationservicemanagementmajorsatHVTIarebelowacceptableinternationallevels.MoststudentshaveaburningdesiretolearnEnglishwell,hopingtobecomequalifiedcivilaviationservicepersonnel.ThisthesischoseEng
