2、troformingasaproceduretomakecoresforvplasticsinjectionmoldsisanalysed.ShellsareobtainedfrommodelsmanufacturedthroughrapidprototypingusingtheFDMsystem.Themainobjectiveistoanalyzethemechanicalfeaturesofelectrofbrmednickelshells,studyingdifferentaspectsrelatedtotheirmetallographicstructu

4、thwhichmodemindustrycomesacrossistoofYertheconsumerbetterproductswithoutstandingvarietyandtimevariability(newdesigns).Forthisreason,modemindustrymustbemoreandmorecompetitiveandithastoproducewithacceptablecosts.Thereisnodoubtthatcombiningthetimevariableandthequalityvariableisnoteasybec
5、ausetheyfrequentlyconditiononeanother;thetechnologicaladvancesintheproductivesystemsaregoingtopermitthatcombinationtobemoreefficientandfeasibleinawaythat,forexample,ifitisobservedtheevolutionofthesystemsandtechniquesofplasticsinjection,wearriveattheconclusionthat,infact,ittakeslessand
6、lesstimetoputanewproductonthemarketandwithhigherlevelsofquality.Themanufacturingtechnologyofrapidtoolingis,inthisfield,oneofthosetechnologicaladvancesthatmakespossibletheimprovementsintheprocessesofdesigningandmanufacturinginjectedparts.Rapidtoolingtechniquesarebasicallycomposedofacol
