4、estobeclusteredintodensegroupsthataresparselyconnectedbetweeneachother).Toachievethisgoal,wedesignamodelofreactionsystemswherenetworkmodularitycanbecontrolledandmeasurehowwellthereductiontosimplegraphscapturesthemodularstructureofthemodelreactionsystem.Wefindthatt
5、henetworktypesthatbestcapturethemodularstructureofthereactionsystemaresubstrate–productnetworks(wheresubstratesarelinkedtoproductsofareaction)andsubstancenetworks(withedgesbetweenallsubstancesparticipatinginareaction).Furthermore,wearguethattheproposedmodelforrea
